This work shows how one can build a system that tracks, with daily resolution, a team's mood and its perception thereof. The system can then raise an alarm when the two diverge. We call this “Weather Awareness System” (WAS). Particular care is put in avoiding undesirable human interactions between all parties involved by limiting what information is stored and how it is disclosed. A number of threats to validity of the data collection process, including anomalous vote patterns, are discussed and addressed.

Abstract
This work shows how one can build a system that tracks, with daily resolution, a team's mood and its perception thereof. The system can then raise an alarm when the two diverge. We call this “Weather Awareness System” (WAS). Particular care is put in avoiding undesirable human interactions between all parties involved by limiting what information is stored and how it is disclosed. A number of threats to validity of the data collection process, including anomalous vote patterns, are discussed and addressed.File allegati
