The aim of this work is to obtain a full resolution focused Synthetic Aperture Radar data with good accuracy, even in the case of a non-straight trajectories of the moving platform, in the shortest possible time. In this regard, the flexibility offered by the focusing in the time domain and the calculation efficiency obtained by splitting the data into different wave numbers band are exploited. In this thesis the focusing in the time domain by a Multi-Beam technique is implemented. Focused data at high resolution from the coherent sum of low-resolution images are obtained. Moreover, performances of this method with respect to those of the full resolution focusing are analyzed both from the theoretical and the experimental view point. The benchmark is done in terms of number of operations and computation time necessary to obtain the result.

Abstract
The benchmark is done in terms of number of operations and computation time necessary to obtain the result.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
