International centre of astronomy

Recent past years it has been growing the popularity of exploring the skies and learning the secrets of space as the telescopes are getting more powerful, for this reason people have developed a tendency of seeking clearer night skies thus traveling further into low population areas. This type of passion has earned its name as astronomical tourism. My thesis is based on this development of the astronomical tourism, by offering a centre where all activities connected to space can be carried out. An astronomical centre, including space museum and also providing infrastructure for those who tend to travel with trailer and for those who simply loves to enjoy the crystal clear sky. Project is located in Chile, next to city San Pedro de Atacama. Atacama desert the most driest place on earth offers the most amazing sky views for observers in the night.

Negli ultimi anni è cresciuta la tendenza ad esplorare i cieli e imparare i segreti dello spazio visto che telescopi sono sempre più potenti, per questo motivo le persone hanno sviluppato una tendenza nel cercare cieli notturni più chiari, viaggiando molto di più in aree scarsamente popolate. Questo tipo di passione ha preso il nome di turismo astronomico. La mia tesi è basata su questo sviluppo del turismo astronomico, offrendo un centro dove tutte le attività connesse allo spazio possono essere sviluppate. Un centro astronomico, che include il museo di spazio e che fornisce anche le infrastrutture per coloro che tendono a viaggiare con roulotte e per chi ama semplicemente godersi il cielo cristallino. Il progetto è focalizzato in Cile, vicino alla città di San Pedro de Atacama. Il deserto di Atacama, il luogo più arido della terra, offre la più splendida vista del cielo per coloro che osservano di notte.
