The traditional buildings are used to be rigid and static. A new phenomenon can suggest leaving all the old concept of rigidity and becoming dynamic. In this way the design would become more interesting and exciting and at some points surprising. Moreover, we can integrate the recent concept of sustainability. This combination of motion and being green can change the future of architecture. The theories of this phenomenon are covered and the flexibility is characterized as: adapt, move, transform, and interact. All these categories are studied in more details through the analysis of different case studies.
