Abstract
The state of the art for automatic machines for the production of cork wire hoods is characterized by outdated technologies and in the international scenario there are just a few manufacturers able to produce this kind of machinery: these are the two main driving forces for the development of a new solution. In an environment dominated by mechanical cams and pneumatic actuators, the new machinery must deal with more than doubled production rate target, flexibility, reducing at the same time the critical situations exhibited by the present system. The machinery for the production of cork wire hoods is made of subsequent stations, each one dedicated to a single operation: the compliance of the semi-finished product, coming out from each step, is essential not only for the quality of the end product, but also to ensure the correct operating condition of the entire system. Within this work will be presented the machinery as a whole, bringing into focus the design of a modern eyelet-forming station, which has been individuated as a crucial step among those required by the production of cork wire hoods.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
