Creative public space

ABSTRACT The aim of the project is to provide a connection in what is called SPACE BETWEEN the town of the piacenza and the river as a public urban area by means of functions and landscape and activities . The strategy is to creat a system which connect diffrent points of the town to new points of the project , the system is defined by a main spine formed by the main functions as a prependicular strong connection between the other parts of the body . There were certain points with high typpological and morphological importance such as Farnese palace (as a heart of the system ) , and the aicent wall of the city and the san sisto church ,as well as barriers sucas railway ,high way and existing streets . The palace is cotnsidered as the heart and the other certain points were consider as the pulses of the town givig life and movement to the whole system . consiederin the topography of the site , the soulution was creating linear connection in the urban level and as well as smoth movement between layers of project in order to provide a continius movement between all points .
