New Product Development (NPD) assumes a relevant role, since accelerating development time and reducing TTM, introducing new products on market before competitors, permits to have first mover advantages, increasing the earnings and covering early the costs due to the initial investments. From this motivation originates the aim of this research: modeling the NPD process, identifying key links between more influential variables and creating a model that simulates their dynamics subjected to different sets and conditions. To reach this desired aim, the standard steps of System Dynamics discipline were followed: initial qualitative analysis related both to process and to market area was made, followed by quantitative analysis, focus on the relevant process area, and a comparison of the results with the NPD process of a given company. In the specific case reference was made to Indesit Company.

Abstract
In the specific case reference was made to Indesit Company.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
