The aerospace sector is a very challenging and innovative area of the industrial world, probably the most dynamic and high demanding one in terms of need of continuous innovation, search for optimization and strong competitiveness. The research of new technologies in order to improve the product goes in the directions of the structural weight minimization, aerodynamic optimization and engine development, all with the same final targets: more secure and fuel-efficient aircrafts. However, in addition to that, it exists the equally important and complex world of the industrial processes optimization, where strict delivery times, budget constraints, human working conditions, clients requirements and general manufacturing issues are the aspects which need to be taken into account in every development study. In this dynamic context the idea from which the whole project started was born, aiming to this very objective, the optimization of a manufacturing process via the study and implementation of a semi-automatic solution to a specific operational need: the carbon floor panels installation on the A380.

Abstract
In this dynamic context the idea from which the whole project started was born, aiming to this very objective, the optimization of a manufacturing process via the study and implementation of a semi-automatic solution to a specific operational need: the carbon floor panels installation on the A380.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
