In Colombia the situation of poverty and inequality reach very high levels especially in big cities, unemployment and informality generate impacts on society, the country, the city and its architecture. In a country like Colombia, which still has an internal conflict for over 50 years has a big problem of migration and violence, the issue of housing is very important. In major cities, it is very clear the phenomenon of spontaneous construction and occupation by low income communities or farmers displaced by violence. Most of the population are peasants displaced from their lands who come to the cities searching for work. The Colombian government over the years has tried to respond to this with social housing projects (Vivienda de Interes social - VIS). Usually applied to medium scale subsidized projects and generally subjugated to the interests of the construction sector. Social housing projects are constructed with the cheapest materials available, with series of simplest solutions of architectures. Causing extremely small and unworthy spaces for families with proportions and conditions even worse than the previous comfort. In most cases these projects are designed and built without climate and bioclimatic analysis, without consideration of the comfort that in many areas of the country become serious problems for residents. The main objective of the thesis is to create a proposal for affordable social housing for displaced communities to ensure the sustainable development in their arrival in the big cities of Colombia. Focused in productive spaces for the families, self- sustenance production for the community, minimal use and recycling/re-use of resources for new production projects and contribution to the life condition and employment of this kind of communities.

Abstract
Focused in productive spaces for the families, self- sustenance production for the community, minimal use and recycling/re-use of resources for new production projects and contribution to the life condition and employment of this kind of communities.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
