Many algorithms of Maximum Power Point Tracking have been described in literature. This thesis describes some of the most common algorithms and compares them with an innovative method, based on the mathematical model of the photovoltaic panel. A measurement system, both hardware and software, has been proposed and experimented to perform comparisons, in both steady state conditions and dynamic conditions, providing greater information on the performance of the algorithms. The elaborate describes the model circuit of the photovoltaic cell and the algorithms used.

Abstract
Many algorithms of Maximum Power Point Tracking have been described in literature. This thesis describes some of the most common algorithms and compares them with an innovative method, based on the mathematical model of the photovoltaic panel. A measurement system, both hardware and software, has been proposed and experimented to perform comparisons, in both steady state conditions and dynamic conditions, providing greater information on the performance of the algorithms. The elaborate describes the model circuit of the photovoltaic cell and the algorithms used.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
