The present Master Thesis work, carried out at Sensors and Detectors Laboratory of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano, focuses on triaxial Lorentz-force-based magnetometers in MEMS technology. The Lorentz force, resulting from the application of a current in a movable structure, generates a displacement that can be capacitively read, permitting the magnetic field measure. The thesis work includes the design of an electronic board for the driving and sensing of triaxial multiloop magnetometers, for in-operation tests purposes. Two nonidealities of the device were also deepened: the offset voltage and its temperature drift. Several compensation techniques for the attenuation of these issues were implemented and tested.

Abstract
Several compensation techniques for the attenuation of these issues were implemented and tested.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
