The aim of the project is to develop a wearable reflectance-based pulse oximeter, which configuration has been miniaturized to fit in a finger ring. The ring shape has been determined by the purpose of making the object light, comfortable and easy to wear everyday for the measurement of the oxygen saturation and the heart rate parameters. This device allows for more freedom in tracking data while performing any type of activities, like even sport, fitness and alpinism. The device front-end consists of the Cypress PSoC 4 BLE, provided with hardware and software platforms to transmit and receive the pulse oximeter signal. The PSoC integrates an onboard BLE that grants the connection with a receiving device for the data transmission. It also includes an internal memory for the storage of data as well as a battery that makes it independent from a pc connection.

Abstract
It also includes an internal memory for the storage of data as well as a battery that makes it independent from a pc connection.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
