This study examines the link between Art and Fashion, analyzing the influences and trying to underline the main dynamics, using information collection and observation after a personal experience in Oltrefrontiera Progetti, a Company leader in the production of window displays. In the recent years the physical retail is going through a phase of innovation, the way to make shopping is changing and the experiential component is playing an increasingly central role. Moreover, if we consider the shop window, it is constantly evolving and it has become a valuable component of the product-service system, a way to communicate the brand identity to the customer and an essential element of commercial differentiation. The project explores two main themes. On one hand, the goal is to create a connection between the world of art and the world of fashion, thinking about how they could interact to create a competitive advantage for Chinese brands. On the other hand, to reinforce the shopping experience, rethinking the role of the shop window and transforming it from a static and passive place to an active and experiential one. The result is a service, an online platform. The reference Company is Oltrefrontiera Progetti, well-know among International brands and developing into the Chinese market. The aim is to expand the service and the visibility of the Company reaching new potential customers into the Chinese market, without affecting the current organization.
Questo lavoro esamina il legame tra arte e moda, ne analizza le influenze e ne delinea le principali dinamiche, utilizzando l’osservazione e la raccolta di informazioni a seguito di una esperienza lavorativa in Oltrefrontiera Progetti, azienda leader nella produzione di vetrine. Negli ultimi anni la vendita al dettaglio sta attraversando una fase di innovazione in cui il modo di fare shopping cambia e la componente esperienziale gioca un ruolo sempre più centrale. Inoltre, considerando la vetrina, essa è in continua evoluzione e diviene un elemento sempre più importante all’interno del sistema prodotto-servizio, si trasforma in un canale di comunicazione dell’identità del marchio al cliente ed in un elemento essenziale di differenziazione commerciale. Il progetto esplora due temi principali: come primo obiettivo si prefigge di stabilire un collegamento tra il mondo dell’arte e il mondo della moda, pensando a come creare interazione fra le due per introdurre un vantaggio competitivo per i marchi cinesi; il secondo è il rafforzamento dell’esperienza d’acquisto, attraverso una nuova visione del ruolo stesso della vetrina e la trasformazione da luogo statico e passivo a uno attivo ed esperienziale. Il risultato è un servizio, una piattaforma online. L’azienda di riferimento è Oltrefrontiera Progetti, ben nota tra i marchi internazionali e in sviluppo nel mercato cinese. L’obiettivo, espandendo il servizio e la visibilità dell’azienda, è il raggiungimento di nuovi potenziali clienti nel mercato cinese, senza modificare l’attuale organizzazione aziendale basata sulla produzione.
