The present study begins from a key word, vertigo, that I have wanted to explore through an ascending course that starts from the ground to the sky, through a journey of images condensing arts, architecture and photography. The analysis begins with the observation of the sky, the attempt to get close to it and the search for a point of contact with it, then the progressive climbing upwards, which triggers multiple emotions, the mind separates from the body with an unexpected, extraordinary and emotional reaction. The account continues towards the achievement of that border, just a step away from the empty space, so typical of those moments preceeding the very moment of the flying. The subject remains still for a fraction of a moment: these are precarious instants between fear and desire, between the inability to cope with the space and the will to dominate it, between the surrendering to obstacles and the will to get over them. The gaze is then directed down, observing around and then...then comes the jump, the fly, the chance to soar in the air, the draining challenge to the force of gravity that overpowers man bringing him back down, feet on the ground.

Abstract
The gaze is then directed down, observing around and then...then comes the jump, the fly, the chance to soar in the air, the draining challenge to the force of gravity that overpowers man bringing him back down, feet on the ground.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
