In this thesis We Present an Automatic algorithm -a MATLAB Script -which is able to Identify a specific shape, through a reference Library containing reference point cloud data sets. The acquired data can be in different initial format, so if its obtained from an acquisition we have a point cloud data This Method can be largely employed in different Industrial sceneries for example robotics and automation field , where the use of an Automatic and autonomous detecting system is always needed.
