Nowadays, the relevance played by startups is growing worldwide faster than ever. In fact, lots of academic papers try to analyze the difficulties arisen during the startup life-cycle. The financial and knowledge gaps represent the main issues and can’t be omitted because they are the key resources needed to growth and support the startup business idea, in order to reach the related potential benefits. Inside the startup ecosystem, financial investors are the main players that can fill these gaps. For these reasons, the following work aims to go deep into the startup-investors relationship in the Italian ecosystem. The main goal will be satisfied thanks to a simple model that highlights the strategic relationship between these two actors, analyzing their resources, the shared common goals and tangible/intangible flows that occur. Moreover, this work wants to make an estimation of some of the main tangible outcomes derived from this relationship, such as the total amount of investments moved from investors to hi-tech startups in Italy during the 2015 year. Other important results were considered in terms of turnover and hired employees during the 2012-2014 time span.

Abstract
Other important results were considered in terms of turnover and hired employees during the 2012-2014 time span.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
