Creating and launching new means to collaborate and connect through today’s complicated societies is a must. People with common interests often come together to find solutions to improve their living conditions by sharing resources, knowledge and skills. The collaborative behaviour encourages innovation and change in a specific context, enabling a process of social innovation, this issue is investigated on the academic context, during educational period where the students arguing gaining as much as possible knowledge and improving their skills to stand later in the professional competitive world. Through rapid social and economical changes, bringing up needed values and at the same time treating in a sustainable pattern is the big social transformation. This dissertation consists of the development of a platform for students as the main actors to foster social innovation in an educational community. An exploratory methodological approach, qualitative in nature was adopted in the research. The outcome of the research phase, data acquisition and analysis, defined the deficiencies and weaknesses that students face during their educational period and potential solution is discoverd. The solution proposed by the author is “U.Share” a PSS that enables peers to improve their skills by collaborating with each other by an internet based tool (mobile application).
La creazione e il lancio di nuovi mezzi per collaborare e le connessioni attraverso le società complesse di oggi è un must. Molto spesso, persone che vivono lo stesso problema, si uniscono per trovare soluzioni alle loro condizioni di vita, condividendo saperi e strumenti. La propensione alla collaborazione incoraggia l’innovazione e il cambiamento in un contesto specifico, e questo permette un processo di innovazione sociale. Questo problema è analizzato nel contesto accademico, durante il periodo didattico, in cui gli studenti fanno il possibile per acquisire conoscenze e migliorare le loro competenze, in modo da essere competitivi con il mondo professionale futuro. L’abbinamento tra, rapidi cambiamenti sociali ed economici, e allo stesso tempo un modello sostenibile è la grande trasformazione sociale. Questa tesi consiste nello sviluppo di una piattaforma per gli studenti, ovvero i principali attori, per favorire l’innovazione sociale in una community educativa. Nella ricerca è stato adottato un approccio metodologico esplorativo, di natura qualitativa. L’esito della fase di ricerca, acquisizione dati e analisi, ha portato a definire le carenze e le debolezze degli studenti durante il periodo educativo ed è stata trovata una potenziale soluzione. La soluzione proposta dall’autore è “U.Share” un PSS che permette, tra colleghi, di migliorare le proprie capacità grazie alla reciproca collaborazione grazie ad una mobile application.
