Live simply

The thesis work stems from the Rethinking competition, edition 2015, which theme- Temporary housing was opportunity for our theme to combine creativity, sustainable ideas and adaptive living concepts into one simple element- the house. First of all the main focus is on the house as a simple shelter, that does not have negative impact on the the natural environment. Second focus is put on the users’ needs and how the simple everyday life can be transformed into a journey, using the architectural unit.A journey that takes you from the main point, that is closer to the urbanised area, gets you through the social heart of the area and leaves you to enjoy undisturbed the vast ocean scene. This project is structured more as a life story rather than a research thesis. That is the reason behind the name “Live simply”- the challenge of keeping things ‘simple’ is actually exceedingly complex. The thesis is generated as a result of the desire to analyse into detail the simple human habits, simple connection between man and nature and simple construction technologies.
