In the last few years, logistic has increase its role for an increasing number of companies, that are going in the near future to interface more and more with automatic solutions, with low costs and even guaranteed return of investments. As for the forecast, technical challenges raise the bar, along with green and economic sustainability. However, there are not a lot of companies with the strength to equip their customer with what they demand, and will demand in the near future, in terms of performance and reliability. Consequently it is mandatory to compete with long solid investments and with flexibility to emerge in this prosperous business. As an answer to these challenges, the method of Value Engineering is proposed, with a focus on continuous improvement of both technologies and operations. It is presented a reengineering of a particular line, analyzing the obtained results, underlining the increase of product value and describing the new business management, with the consolidation of the method for further applications.

Abstract
It is presented a reengineering of a particular line, analyzing the obtained results, underlining the increase of product value and describing the new business management, with the consolidation of the method for further applications.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
