This project was a part of an international competition held by the Municipality of Belgrade, in 2011. The target of this project was to design a Promotion of Science Center which is in New Belgrade. The aim of this thesis is to promote science and technology as a mean of technology. The building will serve as an advertisement of science. Especially, when the teenagers are about to choose their career, the science and technology center will guide them in various branches of science. In order to understand the conditions of the site and its territory, extensive urban analyses via IMM (Integrated Modification Methodology) were accomplished. Moreover, to achieve sustainable design, various techniques were used, considering the location of the site. As a sustainable design project, the strategies of energy and technology were connected to the design principles. The environmental issues had been considered to provide comfort for the users of the buildings. The other main issue was not only in terms of heating, cooling, and ventilation, but also for visual comfort. Thus, the buildings was studied in all over the year. The project of Center for Promotion of Science demonstrates innovative approach with its flexible use. Finally, it proposes the interaction with the nature and overall, science.

Abstract
Finally, it proposes the interaction with the nature and overall, science.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
