Maschio e femmina li creò. Ipotesi progettuali per educare alla sessualità al di fuori della scuola

Since the beginning of the Twentieth Century, and up to the Twenty-first, sexual education has been the subject of arguments and discussions in schools: from the ones who replace it through hygienic notions to the others, who planned to replace it with the anatomy in Science, and those, finally, that tried to unearth the most hidden topics – pleasure, couple life, sexual diseases prevention. Abroad, things went differently: in some Countries it is a compulsory subject from the Sixties, for others abstinence and chastity are the only topics that you can talk about. Over time, sex education has seen several channels: TV shows, movies, books for children, but even cartoons were censored. So “Lube” born, a Web-mag that lives through three surfaces: the computer screen, the printed paper and the mobile device. Young people but also adults may have educational information and entertainment; they can contact the experts and discover the many facets of taboo topics such as the elusive “gender” – or the stories of those who have stories to tell.

Dall’inizio del Novecento e fino al XXI secolo l’educazione sessuale è stata oggetto di diatribe e discussioni all’interno degli edifici scolastici – tra chi la riassumeva attraverso le nozioni igieniche, chi pensava di sostituirla con l’anatomia nelle Scienze e chi, invece, si sforzava di portare alla luce gli aspetti più nascosti – quali il piacere, la vita di coppia, e la prevenzione delle malattie trasmissibili. All’estero le cose sono andate diversamente: per certi Paesi è materia obbligatoria dagli anni Sessanta, per altri l’astinenza e la castità sono gli unici argomenti di cui si può parlare. Col tempo si è tentato di fare educazione sessuale a partire da diversi modi alternativi: programmi televisivi (in seconda serata), film destinati al cinema, albi illustrati per bambini – ma persino i cartoni animati sono stati oggetto di censura. Nasce allora “Lube”, un portale che vive su tre supporti, lo schermo del computer e la carta stampata e il dispositivo mobile, attraverso il quale giovani e adulti possono avere informazioni – educative ma anche di intrattenimento; possono contattare gli esperti senza ricorrere all’auto-diagnosi o alle voci di corridoio, possono scoprire le mille sfaccettature di argomenti tabù come il fantomatico “gender”, o le storie di chi ha storie da raccontare.
