Movup : progetto di startup che tramite un prodotto distributore eroga un servizio di sharing di power banks portatili

Nowadays technology has an important role in the life of every person. It represents a constant that expresses itself in different ways, in particular through the compulsive use of portable devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers, that are tools for communication, entertainment and work. Their daily use, however, has to deal with different problems, which are technical or linked to the user's habits and life situations. The problem that definitely creates more difficulties is that the battery life of technological devices is inadequate, compared to the use that is made of these instruments, especially away from home where it is extremely difficult to be able to recharge it; to accentuate this situation, the fact that from a scientific point of view, linked to the world of batteries and charging techniques, there are no effective solutions on the horizon in the near future. In this thesis, starting from the analysis of this scenario, public and personal solutions to recharge devices outside home have been studied. Starting from this, a startup project has been developed, which aims to offer a useful service by the use of a dispenser product. In particular it is a sharing service of portable power banks, which will be accessed through an online registration and the payment of an annual fee. Through a magnetic card you can interact with the distributor, the central product of the thesis, which will be placed in scenarios of transit such as airports, railway stations and subways. The user can then withdraw a power bank with full battery and use it with his devices, in particular for travel situations in which the service is located. The power bank will need to be returned before to pick up again one or, in any case, within 24 hours.

Al giorno d’oggi la tecnologia fa parte in maniera importante della vita di ogni persona. Si tratta di una costante che si esprime in diversi modi, in particolare tramite l’utilizzo quasi compulsivo di strumenti portatili come smartphone, tablet e computer, strumenti di comunicazione, svago e lavoro. Il loro utilizzo quotidiano e frequente si trova tuttavia a scontrarsi, in comuni occasioni, con problematiche di diversa natura, da alcune di tipo tecnico ad altre legate ad abitudini e situazioni di vita dell’utente. Il problema che sicuramente crea più difficoltà è quello della durata della batteria dei dispositivi tecnologici, inadeguata rispetto all’utilizzo che viene fatto di questi strumenti, soprattutto fuori casa dove è estremamente complicato riuscire a ricaricarla; ad accentuare questa situazione, il fatto che da un punto di vista scientifico, legato al mondo delle batterie e delle tecniche di ricarica, non esistano soluzioni efficaci all’orizzonte di un futuro prossimo. In questa tesi di laurea, partendo dall’analisi di questo scenario, sono state studiate le soluzioni, pubbliche e personali, per poter ricaricare i propri dispositivi fuori casa. Da qui è stato sviluppato un progetto di startup, che vuole offrire un servizio utile tramite un prodotto erogatore. In particolare si tratta di un servizio di sharing di power banks portatili, a cui sarà possibile accedere tramite la propria registrazione online e il pagamento di una quota annuale. Tramite una tessera magnetica si potrà interagire con il distributore, prodotto centrale della tesi, che sarà possibile trovare in luoghi di passaggio come aeroporti, stazioni ferroviarie e metropolitane. L’utente potrà così ritirare un power bank carico, utilizzabile con i propri dispositivi, in particolare per le situazioni di viaggio in cui il servizio si colloca. Questo andrà restituito prima di poterne ritirare nuovamente uno carico o comunque entro 24 ore.
