L’industria dei corrieri in bicicletta, negli anni, ha combattuto per sopravvivere a fax e internet, potendo contare su clienti che hanno comunque bisogno di consegne fisiche nei centri urbani. Oggi le compagnie indipendenti di corrieri in bicicletta si trovano al centro di un trend; un movimento collettivo che promuove la logistica su bicicletta sia per fini politici che imprenditoriali. Alcuni trovano il loro spazio collaborando con grosse corporation, perdendo la propria indipendenza per sopravvivere, mentre altri si avventurano in mercati innovativi, esplorando nuove opportunità in cui le consegne in bicicletta possano fare la differenza.
