This kind of project in the city of Beijing is relatively new and might lend itself to different needs of the city and its citizens. The services considered here, the protective structure, and finally the absence of foundations and modularity, are the result of a careful and focused analysis, analysis on the books and on the place, analysis will lead to a project able to respond to all individual problems, first of all the absence of human proportions

Abstract
The thesis described here began with the desire to analyze the larger public area located near the Olympic Park in Beijing, precisely the area that includes the national stadium and the Olympic pool. The curiosity to investigate the dynamics of this space, was born in the author after an inspection, during which were noted two spatial characteristics of this area: the emptiness and vastness. The author of the thesis asked himself if these factors had reason to exist in a space like this or not, if they were not nothing else that the uncomfortable legacy of the past Olympic event. Hence the decision to develop this thesis and do the research necessary to find out whether here can take place a project to implement the quality of the area. Scientific research involves the collection of data to support a suitable base, and solid development of the work and to the implementation of the project. They analyzed several examples of Olympic parks and their status post Olympics to get a complete overview of the conditions that determine the reuse of the space; it was implemented a spatial analysis, by analyzing the vast spaces in all their connotations and the significance that they have for the Chinese people and has been researched and identified the main problem of this space: the total lack of human scale. It’s a place designed for large events not thinking in the least to the presence of man. Analyzing the current state and the problems of Beijing, it was concluded that one of the factors to be taken into consideration is always the problem of pollution, negativity that is affecting the city and the whole China. After these scientific researches, analysis of target, needs and summarizing all the data relevant to the project, it has come to the drafting of a concept, which includes the desire to include in the area useful services designed to implement the quality of the place, adding the peculiarities of providing protection from pollution. Concept turned into the realization of an ETFE structure, (material that can create a perfect microclimate inside and that can serve as a protective film in respect of pollution) under which they grow food services, playground for grown up and interior landscape, services designed to enhance the area and to point out the difference in climate between environment inside and out. These structures and internal activities will grow and take shape following the concept of the architecture without foundation. It follows a modular design, which aims to simplify and outline the assembly of any piece, going to a structural part to a decor. This kind of project in the city of Beijing is relatively new and might lend itself to different needs of the city and its citizens.
