In semiconductor manufacturing company, supply chain management is of high importance. When a supply chain disruption takes place, it is necessary to react effectively and efficiently with the help of enough information sharing among all the supply chain players. Each organization involved in the supply chain disruption has its own role and responsibility to help best recover from the incident. In this thesis, a supply chain disruption in a semiconductor manufacturing company is used as an example for the research. An Information Sharing Flow and Roles & Behaviours Decision Making Model are developed. Based on these two main research findings, an agent-based simulation model is built to validate the theoretical results and to perform two simulation experiments. The awareness of supply chain disruptions is brought up for the future through assessing the possible damages caused by supply chain disruptions (based on lessons learnt from history). The best collaboration pattern and best time to commit among the supply chain players are analysed after the two experiments. Further research directions and applications are proposed at the end of this thesis.
