The goal of the service is to nurturing Chinese teens(10-16 year-old) to be innovators through STEAM(science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) maker activities. I decided to leverage and develop this topic result from the awareness of lacking innovation because of the stereotype education system and conservative teaching methods in terms of Chinese young adolescents. In order to achieve the aim, I got to know the know that what kinds of methods can foster teens' creativity and how much relevant resources in China can be engaged into the service. I did it by reading bibliography, went on the desk research and field research. When I finished the visting physical makerspaces in Shenzhen and Hongkong, I found out makerspaces can be a part of our clients envolved into the service, but more relevant activities and Chinese traditional crafts activities should be motivated. According to the casestudy section, there were four scenarios coming out, Maker Caravan, Maker Camp, After-school Maker Activities and Open Maker Workshop in Neighborhood. Then I combined Maker Caravan and Maker Camp together in order to make the service more completed. When it comes to the final concept building part, website platform, service guidebook and sample STEAM maker activities design are designed step by step. Some service design tools are implemented during the concept building, for instance, persona, system map, user journey map, blueprint, business model canvas, etc. At last, thanks to the cooperation of 5 target teens and one founder of makerspace, the usability of service and the website went on smoothly. The results of the test demonstrated that the service for now is feasible and there are some small problems should be corrected. Therefore, the service is engaging relevant organizations and companies to provide as much as possible STEAM maker classes to teens in their neighborhoods, which help target teens can easy to access to the locations of the classes. In addition, the STEAM maker camps and workshops are provided by the service as well, but these classes are designed and organized by the service.
