The promotion of a territory must be associated with different paths of meanings. To promote is not only about raising awareness, but also about maintaining alive and preserving the memory of the cultural heritage. If we draw connections between local resources, calling in service the ones that are less known by local people, it is possible to generate new and unreleased identities. This is what the region of Abruzzo needs, currently third from bottom over a national rating of Italian and international touristic flow. The region is promoted and represented by a static image that talks only about nature. What if the territory could be narrated through the reconstruction of the local chains, interpreted as a consequence of morphological, economical and cultural aspects? Fabbriche Lente was conceived with this mission: a collaborative story about the territory that puts in relationship the actors of the Made in Italy bounded by the tradition. Through the narration of manufacturers and local chain production Fabbriche Lente promotes the territory creating a different interpretations and a unique touristic experience, a journey to discover the Made in Abruzzo in every step of the processing. Fabbriche Lente is developed in a multicanal system formed by different elements: a website where the collaborative stories about the production chain are collected; a touristic guide to live again the path of the production chain; a local product re branded with the same strategy, that will be able to enter exclusive sales channel. A systemic and strategic model with a format that could be extended to other Italian regions. To promote and valorize marginal reality that represent the culture of a territory in order to create new and unreleased identities.
La promozione di un territorio deve essere associata a percorsi interpretativi diversi. Promuovere non significa soltanto far conoscere, ma anche mantenere in vita e custodire la memoria del patrimonio culturale. Se si tracciano connessioni tra le risorse locali, chiamando a servizio quelle meno conosciute dalla popolazione residente, è possibile dare vita ad identità nuove ed inedite. Questo è quello di cui ha bisogno l’Abruzzo, attualmente al terz’ultimo posto in un rating nazionale per affluenza di turisti, italiani ed internazionali. Una regione promossa e rappresentata da un’immagine statica che parla solo di natura. Cosa succederebbe se si narrasse il territorio attraverso la ricostruzione delle filiere locali, interpretate come prodotto e conseguenza di aspetti morfologici, economici e culturali? Con questo obiettivo è nato Fabbriche Lente: un racconto collaborativo del territorio che mette in relazione gli attori del Made in Italy legati alla tradizione. Attraverso la narrazione dei manifatturieri e delle filiere produttive Fabbriche Lente promuove il territorio creandone una lettura diversa ed un’esperienza turistica unica, un percorso per scoprire il Made in Abruzzo in ogni step della lavorazione. Fabbriche Lente si sviluppa in un sistema multicanale formato da diversi elementi: un portale web dove vengono raccolte le storie collaborative legate alla filiera, una guida turistica per rivivere il percorso della filiera, un prodotto locale ribrandizzato che potrà accedere a canali di vendita esclusivi. Un modello sistemico e strategico con un format estendibile ad altre regioni italiane. Promuovere e valorizzare realtà marginali e rappresentative della cultura di un territorio per creare identità nuove ed inedite.
