Inhibition at high temperatures was evaluated on 75 micron Pd-Ag membrane with different gas mixtures. First pure hydrogen was inserted to verify the permeance of the membrane. Then methane, steam, and hydrogen were inserted at first separately and then together to verify the inhibition effect due to competitive adsorption. As a last experimental study carbon monoxide was inserted to verify its inhibition effect.
Lo scopo del lavoro è stato stato quello di capire se ad alte temperature verie miscele di gas potessero inibire la membrana di 75 micron palladio-argento nell'ambito della separazione dell'idrogeno ad alta temperatura.
