In the particular region of my homeland, Vojvodina (flat region of the country), there are so many potentials for the improvement of the country that has to be used. Today the country is underdeveloped. The situation could be changed if we take into consideraton all the adventages of this region where are a lot of abandoned houses with mainly old and poor population without any motivaton for life and work. However, there are many possibilites for improvement of the region but also of the country. Mentioned potential is mainly based on agriculture which is present mostly in this northern part of the country and better part of the economy depends on its develompent. The starting point is saving money to invest in products. We can do that with making improved houses which means saving the energy with less heating and cooling and that is possible with particulat materials and building techniques. Furthermore, the improvement of the country could be closely connected to the architecture itself. There is coming the solution which is based on traditional architecture which constitutes about 40% of the building stock in the northern Serbian province. How? Finding the abondoned houses and reuse them for contemporary use for small amount of money using the materials from the site (earth as available resources from the immediate environment) which have good performance in energy savings and also everyone can build easy - ‘’DIY’’ (do it yourself). Conclusion is : less money for building more for investment in work. The village lives again through younger population , with new ideas how to invest and start the business plan which is followed by improvement in whole the country. The strategy is based on how to connect the people who are interested in this kind of architecture and reunion of the youth and tradition in order to change something, to make the first step in possible progress of the country through creative and ecological changes in the construction in Vojvodina.
