In this work it will be studied the applicability of non-destructive testing performed with microcomputed tomography and phased array ultrasonic testing in order to evaluate the quality of products made by SLM. Inspections will be performed by computed tomography with two different tomographic systems by adopting, on each of them, different parameters for the inspection. Phased array ultrasonic tests will be performed to assess their applicability as an alternative to the tomographic inspections. On the tomographic inspections it will be studied the possibility to perform the defect analysis by exploiting in combination an open source software and a Matlab script, designed for this specific purpose, as an alternative to expensive commercial software. After the low cycles fatigue tests of some of the specimens, the validity of the results of the defect analysis will be evaluated with the outcome of experimental observation of the critical defects.

Abstract
After the low cycles fatigue tests of some of the specimens, the validity of the results of the defect analysis will be evaluated with the outcome of experimental observation of the critical defects.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
