Bababambin * is a social inclusive project for families and kids, located in a urban frame that lacks of aggregative, intergenerational and intercultural places able to accommodate users of different social status and with different needs. They are small, explorers, noisy, dreamers, they are citizens. Above all, they are children with working parents that are theater, music, good food lovers and they are convinced to be parents... in the best way as possible. In an aggregative center designed by the social enterprise mare culturale urbano, for Cascina Torrette in Milan, the project Bababambin* calls the local community, composed by citizens and institutions, to work together to achieve a common goal: the growth of baby citizens. The family-friendly service system has been developed to support families and it completes the services offered by mare culturale urbano; Cascina becomes a place where families and children are welcomed and included in the daily activities and events thanks to an increased accessibility, a dedicated support and a specific cultural programme. Three design areas cross and create an environment where families find place among the others. A project developed towards the construction of a social centre for all.
Bababambin* è un progetto di inclusione sociale per famiglie, bambine e bambini, inserito in una cornice urbana carente di luoghi aggregativi, intergenerazionali e interculturali in grado di accogliere utenti di diverso stato sociale e con diversi tipi di bisogni. Sono piccoli, sono esploratori, sono rumorosi, sono sognatori, sono cittadini. Sopra ogni cosa, sono bambine e bambini con genitori lavoratori, appassionati di teatro e musica, amanti del buon cibo e decisi ad essere genitori... nel migliore dei modi. In un centro di aggregazione sviluppato dall’impresa sociale mare culturale urbano presso la Cascina Torrette a Milano, il progetto Bababambin* chiama la comunità locale, composta da cittadini e istituzioni, a lavorare insieme per il raggiungimento di un obbiettivo comune: la crescita di piccoli cittadini. Il sistema di servizi family-friendly sviluppato opera a supporto della genitorialità e dei bambine/i, ed è concepito in maniera integrata e complementare ai servizi offerti da mare culturale urbano; la Cascina diventa così un luogo in cui famiglie e bambine/i sono accolti e inclusi nella quotidianità delle attività e degli eventi grazie ad una maggiore accessibilità, a un supporto dedicato e a una programmazione culturale specifica. Tre aree di progettazione si interscano e creano un ambiente dove genitori e bambine/i trovano posto tra gli altri. Un progetto verso la costruzione di un cantiere sociale per tutt*.
