In this thesis, we dealt with many open issues about electronic suspensions on agricultural vehicles, in collaboration with the company Argo Tractors Spa. Firstly, we analysed a problem involving the suspensions of the front axle and we obtained a static model in order to justify the phenomenon. The model has been validated and then adapted to a tractor not in production, so that we would have been able to correct the problem in a planning stage. Afterwards, we obtained and validated a non-linear model of the vertical dynamics of a tractor equipped with a semi-active cabin suspension, on which we then simulated some control logics, in order to evaluate later the performance related to comfort. In a second moment we managed with a problem linked to load leveling control present in literature, which would limit its efficiency. We proposed and confirmed a solution based on an estimate of the position of the suspension as a function of the kinematic acceleration of the vehicle. Finally, we designed a method for the analysis of the comfort performances, with the aim of providing an objective evaluation of the comfort level of the tractor. This method has been employed on different vehicles and it has resulted effective on different kind of tests.

Abstract
This method has been employed on different vehicles and it has resulted effective on different kind of tests.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
