The aim of this work was to propose new solutions for intra-data center interconnections using PCIe-based optical fiber links, thus allowing high data transfer rate (up to 16 Gb/s) with a reduction of the overall system costs by decreasing or eliminating the number of protocol conversion chips.
Lo scopo di questo lavoro è lo sviluppo di nuove soluzioni per interconnessioni intra-data center basate sul protocollo PCI Express e collegamenti in fibra ottica.
