This work is aiming at design a vibration reduction system, to be used on a pneumatic chipping hammer. The system is called suspension, in our design it has been designed by using suitable springs and dampers to transform the energy coming from vibration into potential energy and heat. We are proposing two solutions, one based on helical springs and the other on leaf springs. The two have been compared to find which is better. For damping, both solutions are using leveraging on Coulomb damping.
Il presente lavoro mira a progettare un sistema di riduzione delle vibrazioni, trasmesse al sistema mano-braccio da un martello pneumatico per scolpitura. Il sistema chiamato sospensione nel nostro caso, è stato progettato utilizzando molle e ammortizzatori idonei a trasformare l'energia proveniente dalle vibrazioni in energia potenziale e calore. Sono state proposte due soluzioni, una basata su molle elicoidali, l'altra su molle a balestra evidenziando i vantaggi e controindicazioni di ciascuna
