Sustainable productive landscape and water city : Hangzhou

The site is a port and it locates in the North of Hangzhou, in the outskirt of the main city, in the route of Grand Canal. As the starting point of Grand Canal River, water transport means a lot in Hangzhou, also in China. But the port is facing a big challenge as the city expands, the extra functions are under demand in these pre-industrial zones. That means it has been surrounded by all kinds of residential houses. It must change and face to the public. The design could help find a solution of reforming the industrial port in a sustainable way. In the same time, creating a better public space for the citizens, also increase the attractiveness in the Canal River

Il sito è un porto e si localizza nel Nord di Hangzhou, nella periferia della città principale, nel percorso del Canal Grande. Come il punto di partenza del Canal Grande fiume, il trasporto di acqua significa molto a Hangzhou, anche in Cina. Ma la porta si trova ad affrontare una grande sfida come la città si espande, le funzioni supplementari sono in fase di domanda in queste zone pre-industriali. Ciò significa che è stato circondato da tutti i tipi di case residenziali. Essa deve cambiare e affrontare al pubblico.
