The current master thesis describes a part of a wider and more structured project which aims at acquiring, analysing and displaying ECG signals on a mobile phone and also at providing localization functionalities for the same application. The ECG mobile application has been developed in order to acquire electrocardiographic signals from an acquisition via the Bluetooth protocol, to perform some elementary analysis on it, to display the waveform on the mobile phone and also to localize the position of the device by the GPS system, and to compute the distance between its current position and the points of interest from a suitable list. The application has been developed by the Java Mobile technology. The application has been tested using real patients’ ECG signals on NOKIA mobile phones running the Symbian OS and also on some Sun emulators.

Abstract
The current master thesis describes a part of a wider and more structured project which aims at acquiring, analysing and displaying ECG signals on a mobile phone and also at providing localization functionalities for the same application. The ECG mobile application has been developed in order to acquire electrocardiographic signals from an acquisition via the Bluetooth protocol, to perform some elementary analysis on it, to display the waveform on the mobile phone and also to localize the position of the device by the GPS system, and to compute the distance between its current position and the points of interest from a suitable list. The application has been developed by the Java Mobile technology. The application has been tested using real patients’ ECG signals on NOKIA mobile phones running the Symbian OS and also on some Sun emulators.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
