This thesis analyses costs of implementation and Internet of Things for energy management in buildings, comparing it with more traditional technologies used in BMS systems. A real office building (ABB facilities in Bergamo) is used as a case study. Considered IoT-based technology results in a much lower cost, and in addition it includes features that can be considered in energy efficiency certification of building.
Questa tesi analizza i costi di implementazione dell'applicazione di IoT (Internet of Things) alla gestione energetica degli edifici, confrontandoli con quelli di precedenti sistemi di Building Management (BMS). Lo studio è basato su un caso reale (edificio di uffici, sede di ABB a Bergamo), mostra che la tecnologia IoT considerata richiede costi inferiori, e in più realizza funzionalità che hanno valore nella certificazione energetica degli edifici.
