Today, business ecosystem is ultra-competitive and in order to keep the top economic position, one enterprise needs to cultivate a data-driven culture by sharing the right performance indicators and business metrics with the team. Dashboards are favorite tool to visualize business performance across organizations. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) play a crucial role in providing accurate operational and strategical information. Complexity of interrelationship among business values, contribution levers of various business areas and wide range of KPIs, overwhelmed managers with information which are in some cases overlapped or contradictory. The idea of this research is to amplify variations and simplify interpretations, moreover to improve objectivity and efficiency through an innovative single page multi-layered strategic dashboard of performance components. Proposed analytical method benefits combination of several analytical methodology and data mining such as mind mapping, prioritization matrix, clustering and principal component analysis (PCA). This innovative approach functions as an amplifier of variation in criticalities across business performances and is more reliable and targeted compared to previous solutions for the same subject. This project initially defined by IT & business process director of ISA S.p.A under the name of “Managerial Reporting System” and conducted in collaboration of Politecnico di Milano industrial and information department. Future development of this proposal will be dedicated to imbedded range and target of primary dimensions of business performance, and convert dashboard into decision making and action driven support platform.
Oggi, ecosistema di business è ultra-competitiva e al fine di mantenere la posizione economica superiore, un'impresa ha bisogno di coltivare una cultura basata sui dati attraverso la condivisione di indicatori di performance e di metriche di business proprio con la squadra. Dashboard sono lo strumento preferito per visualizzare le prestazioni di business tra le organizzazioni. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) svolgono un ruolo cruciale nel fornire accurate informazioni operative e strategica. La complessità di interrelazione tra i valori aziendali, le leve di contribuzione delle varie aree di business e una vasta gamma di KPI, manager sopraffatto con le informazioni che si trovano in alcuni casi sovrapposte o contraddittorie. L'idea di questa ricerca è quello di amplificare variazioni e semplificare interpretazioni, inoltre migliorare l'obiettività e l'efficienza attraverso un innovativo singola pagina multistrato cruscotto strategico dei componenti prestazioni. metodo analitico proposto beneficia combinazione di diverse metodologie di analisi e data mining, come mind mapping, matrice di priorità, clustering e analisi delle componenti principali (PCA). L'innovativo approccio come un amplificatore di variazione di criticità attraverso performance aziendali ed è più affidabile e mirato rispetto alle soluzioni precedenti per lo stesso soggetto. Questo progetto inizialmente definito da IT & Business Process direttore del ISA S.p.A sotto il nome di “manageriale Reporting System” e condotto in collaborazione del Politecnico di Milano Dipartimento industriale e dell'informazione. Il futuro sviluppo di questa proposta sarà dedicata alla gamma inserita e bersaglio di dimensioni primarie di prestazioni aziendali, e convertire cruscotto nel processo decisionale e di azione piattaforma di supporto guidato.
