The school is the result of the interaction of several factors, not only didactic elements but in a more general sense, it consists in a interaction between teaching methods and architecture, material, sound and light that contribute to create different conexts according to the destinations of use. The main purpose of the following research is to analyses the main factors that influence the learning performance, aiming to achieve and enhance the design of adequate spaces according to teaching methods and health and good comfort conditions inside the space. Topics like thermal comfort, glare and reverberation time are key issues and indoor air quality and have to be verified. The multilevel analysis of the space can be extended to segments of the school facilities to deliver guidelines and main strategies to advance the existing school facilities learning conditions. In this project the highlighted indoor comfort parametes have been analysed, aiming to improve the design of the current existing educational building, analysing hygrothermal, visual and acoustic parameters in order to achieve good comfort conditions both for new and existing constructions in compliance with the Italian Standards in force.
