The aim of our research and project is to find a suitable method of creating sustainable developed modular architecture in Mozambique’s small towns. To reach the objective of a spatial planning process that results from the thorough comprehension of this particular typology of human settlement, the research was based on the analysis of case studies: Chatala, one vilas rurales situated in a rural district in central Mozambique. Together with literature review, some already done projects what created in the district of Chatala, and consisted of the analysis of already existing data and reference.
