LivellART, la creatività in fabbrica. Proposta di recupero per le Cristallerie Livellara

Our interest is directed towards the potentialities and the points the strength that the neighborhood has to offer with the intention of improving the habitability and further connecting the Bovisa to the big suburban network that develops around Milan. context analysis and study of a compatible function with the spaces and the neighborhood were the preliminary steps to the drawing up the reuse project undertaken: the features intrinsic to the place seemed to be perfect to accommodate a multifunctional center that focuses on creativity and artistry. To do this we chose to intervene on one of the symbols of the Bovisa industrial Milan manufactures the former Cristallerie of the F.lli Livellara, which with its tower, symbol of futurist architecture, has become Bovisa's true point of reference. Genericamente si è soliti associare la periferia all’idea di degrado, di pericolo e di diversità; rimanendo in un contesto a noi affine, nella città di Milano, uno dei quartieri facilmente associabili a questi pregiudizi è quello della Bovisa. Il nostro interesse si indirizza verso le potenzialità e i punti di forza che il quartiere ha da offrire con il fine di migliorare l’abitabilità e di collegare ulteriormente la Bovisa al grande network suburbano che si sviluppa intorno a Milano. L’analisi del contesto e lo studio di una funzione compatibile con gli spazi e il quartiere sono stati gli step preliminari alla stesura del progetto di riuso intrapreso: le caratteristiche intrinseche del luogo ci sono sembrate perfette per ospitare un centro polifunzionale che si focalizzasse sulla creatività e artisticità. Per fare ciò abbiamo scelto di intervenire su uno dei simboli della Bovisa della Milano industriale ossiala fabbrica delle Ex Cristallerie dei F.lli Livellara, che con la sua torre, simbolo dell’architettura futurista, è divenuto vero e proprio landmark della Bovisa. Il lavoro di tesi ha avuto come scopo principale la formulazione di una proposta di riuso consapevole, che permettesse di dare una nuova vita alla fabbrica, rendendo gli spazi in grado di accogliere persone e attività, offrendo un contributo importante per il quartiere di Bovisa. L’idea è quella di creare un luogo in cui giovani studenti, neolaureati, imprenditori creativi, professionisti possanoartistiche e creative. Dove le varie figure potessero essere fonte di ispirazione per gli altri con il proprio lavoro e potessero farsi ispirare allo stesso tempo contemplando le produzioni altrui. Un luogo di scambio di idee e saperi, dove il singolo è disposto a mettersi a servizio della comunità per diffondere il proprio sapere e pronto a recepire qualsiasi input che provenga da altre fonti, realtà, ambienti. accedere a risorse, lasciarsi ispirare dal lavoro altrui, generare idee innovative ed instaurare relazioni che siano utili ad individuare nuove opportunità e nuovi input creativi. Il progetto è nato come una naturale conseguenza delle due realtà che identificano il quartiere di Bovisa cercando di potenziare le relazioni che esse instaurano con il contesto e soprattutto le interconnessioni che possono crearsi facendo convivere queste due pratiche in un unico spazio fisico. Si è deciso di mantenere immutate le caratteristiche della fabbrica non intervenendo sui corpi esterni, fattore che è sembrato fondamentale mantenere sia per la bellezza stessa del luogo sia perché rappresenta uno degli esempi di archeologia industriale che fortemente caratterizza la Bovisa ed è sembrato opportuno mantenere questo carattere il più fedele possibile. Realtà che è subentrata nel quartiere creando così nuovi sistemi relazionali è quella della creatività, della componente artistica, con l’apertura di piccole aziende in cui l’aspetto artigianale è molto forte. Il Politecnico con la facoltà di Design sicuramente ha giocato un ruolo fondamentale per lo sviluppo di questa corrente nell’area, promuovendo la nascita e l’apertura di varie attività. Questi due elementi sono stati fondamentali per il concepimento del progetto: la realizzazione di una fabbrica artistica, un centro dove fosse possibile riunire più realtà
