Final point that marks the end of a story. Event that closes the great circle of existence. An unequivocal destiny for every living being. She is, without doubt, the ultimate mystery of the universe. Ungrateful he who does not look forward to her arrival. Unaware he who does not want to understand that life is death, that to be born means not only living but also perishing, that after all, life is nothing but a long, aching, and beautiful disappearing. Is not death but a journey, the last, the most exciting one, towards a state of eternal, sublime and absolute freedom? This work, half theoretical and half practical, is a spontaneous intent to conceive it, to contextualize it, to face it, to reduce it, if possible, to its essential terms, so that it could be useful to people who, knowing her incorruptible determination, are still afraid of her.

Ossessione azzardata per alcuni, beata ignoranza per altrui. Regina della notte che governa silenziosamente i nostri più profondi sogni, timori e desideri. Emancipazione naturale alle insignificanti tribolazioni umane. Punto finale che segna la conclusione di una storia. Evento che chiude il grande cerchio dell’esistenza. Destino inequivoco per ogni essere vivente. Lei è, senza dubbi, il mistero supremo dell’universo. Ingrato colui che non aspetti allegramente il suo arrivo. Ignaro colui che non voglia capire che la vita è morte, che nascere implica vivere ma anche perire, che dopo tutto, la vita non è altro che un lungo, doloroso, meraviglioso scomparire. Non sarà la morte solo un viaggio, l’ultimo, il più eccitante, verso uno stato di eterna, sublime e assoluta libertà? Questo lavoro teorico-progettuale è un intento spontaneo di concepirla, contestualizzarla, affrontarla, di poter ridurla, se possibile, ai suoi termini essenziali affinché possano essere strumenti utili all’uomo che, nella consapevolezza della sua incorruttibile determinatezza, la teme ancora.
