Drain coat. Analisi, studio di fattibilità e progetto per un vestito in grado di produrre acqua in contesti geografici desertici

The study of what will be in the future, is something that it seduces, intrigues, fascinates us throught human’s soul since a long time. Have a chance to make an innovation in reality, using the ability of previsions, by big data, what will be in the near future, in certain area of the world, give us considerable responsability, towards people who live with us, towards tecnhnology and towards ethical’s issues. The visions of the future, not thought so far from now, in 2025, are the real fundamentals to see and to study, how even in the worst place all over the world, as in the Sahara desert, could be possible to make innovation and design. Throught the identification of megatrends of the future, it is possible to delineate the charateristics of the personas of tomorrow, who in a critic way, could use the innovation, in a responsable way and coherent with the rest of the world. The main objective is to create a device, that can produce water, in a difficult place, where there is dearth, and rainfall doesn’t fall often; this device must have the appearence of a dress, it will be equiped with a nanotechnology, and it could be possible the survival in an extreme environment. Starting from biotechnology in nature, my research is dealing about all technology that can be considered now, in order to specify during the next phases of the project, what will be the object of the thesi’s implementation.

Lo studio di come sarà il mondo del domani, è qualcosa che affascina, intriga e incuriosisce l’animo umano da molto tempo. Avere la possibilità di fare dell’innovazione in termini concreti, potendo sfruttare l’abilità nel prevedere tramite dati certi, ciò che sarà di determinate aree geografiche del mondo, implica notevoli reaponsabilità, nei confronti delle persone, nei confronti delle tecnologie e nei confronti dell’etica. Le vision, ipotizzate in un futuro non troppo distante da quello attuale, 2025, servono quale base di indagine per osservare e studiare come anche nei luoghi più remoti della terra, come nel caso del deserto del Sahara, si possa fare innovazione e design. Attraverso l’individuazione di megatrends di sviluppo futuri vengono delineate le caratteristiche per l’utente tipo del domani che, in modo critico, saprà fare uso dell’innovazione in maniera responsabile e coerente con il resto del mondo. L’obiettivo principale consiste nel creare un device in grado di poter produrre acqua, in contesti di carestia, o periodi di piogge assenti per lunghi periodi, che abbia la forma di un vestito ma che possegga tecnologie nanotecnologiche, in grado di poter permettere la sopravvivenza in ambienti estremi. Iniziando ad osservare le biotecnologie presenti in natura, la ricerca si spinge verso quelle che sono le possibili tecnologie attuabili, per definire successivamente, tramite le fasi di progetto, quello che è l’oggetto della progettazione della tesi.
