Supply chain risk management

Global supply chains are facing different risks such as piracy, theft, terrorism, strikes, natural disasters and energy shortages, which made companies more aware of the vulnerability of their supply chains, and encouraged them to seek ways to reduce risks of such unforeseeable situations and increase stability along their supply chains. Therefore, the aim of this research is to examine how companies understand the value of supply chain Resilience and how they are facing the different kind of risk sources. The research examined the International Global companies in Egypt in their supply chain resilience practices and experiences since the 25th of January 2011 revolution and the second revolution on 30 June 2013 till now and Identify the opportunities and give recommendation for the investors who wants or are investing in Egypt to face the risks. In order to support the purpose of the research, a questionnaire was conducted to (number) of Global Companies in different fields in Egypt in order to identify what risk sources they faced in the past years and how they are still facing the Egyptian market and the relationship with their suppliers and the extent of improvement they experienced.

Le catene di approvvigionamento globali si trovano ad affrontare rischi diversi, quali la pirateria, il furto, il terrorismo, gli scioperi, i disastri naturali e le carenze energetiche, che hanno reso le aziende più consapevoli della vulnerabilità delle loro catene di approvvigionamento e li ha incoraggiati a cercare modi per ridurre i rischi di tali situazioni imprevedibili aumentare la stabilità lungo le loro catene di approvvigionamento. Pertanto, lo scopo di questa ricerca è quello di esaminare come le aziende comprendono il valore della Resilienza della catena di fornitura e come si trovano a fronteggiare il diverso tipo di fonti di rischio. La ricerca ha esaminato le aziende internazionali internazionali in Egitto nelle loro pratiche e esperienze di resilienza della catena di fornitura dopo la rivoluzione del 25 gennaio 2011 e la seconda rivoluzione del 30 giugno 2013 fino ad ora e individuare le opportunità e dare raccomandazione agli investitori che vogliono o stanno investendo Egitto per affrontare i rischi. Al fine di supportare lo scopo della ricerca, è stato condotto un questionario su (numero) di aziende globali in diversi settori in Egitto per individuare quali fonti di rischio hanno affrontato negli ultimi anni e come stanno ancora affrontando il mercato egiziano e rapporti con i loro fornitori e la portata del miglioramento che hanno sperimentato.
