City hall and summer stage

The present thesis elaborates a project for the design of a City Hall and Summer Stage in Ohrid, Macedonia. The main idea of this competition is urban requalification, creating an attractive place where tourists will be able to entertain, take pictures and bring beautiful memories from this part of the city. The building will be inserted in the urban fabric and will configure itself as an organism open toward the environment and existing settlements. On the next chapters is explained the idea, the development and the technical realization of our design. Into account are taken also the urban analyzes, case studies and the final transformation of the location. The present project develops the city hall building theme presented by the competition City Hall and Summer Stage, announced by municipality of Ohrid. The program of the competition includes the realization of a city hall complex composed by city hall, summer stage together with the common public space that can be used all the time.

La presente tesi elabora un progetto per la progettazione di un Municipio e la Stagione Estiva a Ohrid, Macedonia. L'idea principale di questo concorso è la riqualificazione urbana, creando un luogo attraente dove i turisti potranno intrattenere, fotografare e portare bellissimi ricordi da questa parte della città. L'edificio sarà inserito nel tessuto urbano e si configurerà come un organismo aperto verso l'ambiente e gli insediamenti esistenti. Nei prossimi capitoli viene spiegato l'idea, lo sviluppo e la realizzazione tecnica del nostro progetto. Si prendono in considerazione anche le analisi urbane, gli studi di casi e la trasformazione definitiva dell'ubicazione. Il presente progetto sviluppa il tema della costruzione del municipio presentato dal concorso City Hall e Summer Stage, annunciato dal Comune di Ohrid. Il programma del concorso comprende la realizzazione di un complesso del municipio composto dal municipio, dalla fase estiva insieme allo spazio pubblico comune che può essere utilizzato per tutto il tempo.
