Rereading : dialogue between old building and new structure. Remodeling new entree spaces for exhibition in historical building

The exhibition architecture we talk here is transfer from an old existing building which has its own specific value from the past. Based on the vaule of the building, the trace and meaning of the architecture is also belong to part of the exhibition. There must have some limits depends on different type architecture when we do the intervention. Nevertheless, if a building working as contemporary exhibition function in modern time, the facility space is a real challenge for architects to manage inside the heritage. This thesis investigates an architectural strategy in the remodelling of existing buildings that not only complements but also challenges and reveals the history and material character of the original intent, in order to create greater meaning for the historic building. The opportunity to analyses this topic in depth is provided by the study of five cases that I have been visited, the conversion of the old architecture in Europe into contemporary museum. The case tells a story about how we can approach what is already present in the existing situation. It is about curiosity and optimism; about asking oneself if it is really necessary to change, take away, add or finish something. From those works show that how to manage the intermediacy between new structue and old building, and how many different ways to set service functional spaces on remodelling old buildings.

L'architettura espositiva che parliamo è il trasferimento da un vecchio edificio esistente che ha un proprio valore specifico del passato. Sulla base del vaule dell'edificio, la traccia e il significato dell'architettura appartengono anche a una parte della mostra. Dovete avere dei limiti dipende dall'architettura di tipo diverso quando facciamo l'intervento. Tuttavia, se un edificio che funge da funzione contemporanea della mostra in tempi moderni, lo spazio dell'impianto è una vera sfida per gli architetti di gestire all'interno del patrimonio.          Questa tesi esamina una strategia architettonica nel rimodellamento di edifici esistenti che non solo integra ma sfida e rivela la storia e il carattere materiale dell'intento originale, al fine di creare un significato maggiore per l'edificio storico. L'opportunità di analizzare questo argomento in profondità è fornita dallo studio di cinque casi in cui sono stato visitato, la conversione dell'antica architettura in Europa in museo contemporaneo. Il caso racconta una storia su come possiamo affrontare ciò che è già presente nella situazione attuale. Si tratta di curiosità e ottimismo; di chiedersi se sia davvero necessario cambiare, togliere, aggiungere o finire qualcosa. Da queste opere emerge come gestire l'intermediazione tra la nuova struttura e il vecchio edificio e quanti modi diversi impostare gli spazi funzionali del servizio per la ristrutturazione di edifici vecchi.
