The city was for long time the place for heroic fights against pirates and armies send by the British and French crown who pretended in several time conquer the city to expand their Empires inside the Spanish America. All this historical memory has been putting apart and the city it is currently a truistic destination for its beaches and tropical weather condition. STRIP INTERVENTION MODEL - A Scale Prototype to be applied to different seafronts The Urban intervention to recover the use of the “El Bosque” waterfront to make of it a meaningful and useful space for the city has as first action, the objective to break the existing urban limits that this area presents making of the sea an element not reachable for the local community and the rest of the city. The Industrial Use and Buildings that occupy the waterfront had created security walls that face to the urban area , Providing the first limited. Also the existing vehicular roads network in the area creates a strong barrier forcing the direction of the city dynamics in north-South order, In which the High Vehicular Industrial Flow create an obstacle for the City Center areas to connect with the waterfront. With a Strip Intervention Connecting the waterfront with the city center instead of focusing on an intervention along the cost, it is possible to include the neighborhood areas and link directly the center to the sea. Una strategia urbana di riscoperta sul litorale” - Cartagena, Colombia Recupero e intervento urbano di uno dei litorali nella baia interna di Cartagena de Indias, in Colombia. Con l'obiettivo di aumentare le dinamiche cittadine ei valori storici della città. Il progetto pretende anche la possibilità o la fornitura di una strategia urbana da applicare in altri lungomare nell'area urbana come attore a vantaggio di settori meno sviluppati. Cartagena è nata come porto di città, giocando un importante rotolo per l'impero spagnolo come il porto più utilizzato e come un punto strategico militare per il controllo delle terre in America. La città era per lungo tempo il posto per le lotte eroiche contro i pirati e gli eserciti inviati dalla corona britannica e francese che fingevano in diversi anni di conquistare la città per espandere i loro Empiri all'interno dell'America spagnola. Tutta questa memoria storica si è distinta e la città è attualmente una meta ideale per le sue spiagge e le condizioni meteorologiche tropicali. MODELLO DI INTERVENTO STRIP - Un prototipo di scala da applicare ai diversi lungomare L'intervento urbano per recuperare l'uso del lungomare "El Bosque" per renderlo uno spazio significativo e utile per la città ha come prima azione, l'obiettivo di rompere i limiti urbani esistenti che quest'area presenta rendere il mare un elemento non raggiungibile per la comunità locale e per il resto della città. L'uso industriale e gli edifici che occupano il lungomare hanno creato pareti di sicurezza che si affacciano all'area urbana, fornendo la prima limitata. Anche la rete stradale esistente in questa zona crea una forte barriera che impone la direzione della dinamica urbana nell'ordine nord-sud, in cui l'alto flusso industriale veicolare crea un ostacolo per le aree del centro città per collegarsi al lungomare.Con un'intervento di striscia Collegando il lungomare con il centro della città invece di concentrarsi su un intervento lungo il costo, è possibile includere le aree di vicinato e collegare direttamente il centro al mare. La strategia dei corridoi sul litorale- Intervento di scala della città Modello di intervento a strisce Un intervento a scala urbana che si finge con elementi semplici e chiari per rompere i limiti e collegare la città e il waterfront e fornire un accesso orizzontale. Strategia di permeabilità- Settore/ Intervento di quartiere A causa dei Brownfields identificati e della Strategia urbana occupazione informale dei blocchi, è possibile migliorare le zone trascurate nell'interno del blocco, creando una rete diretta all'uso della comunità locale in cui i nuovi spazi pubblici e le connessioni secondarie creano un Tessuto Vernacolare che attiva le dinamiche sociali ed economiche della zona. 3.
