Casa Morigi renovation program. Interior design as a catalyst for community, creativity and exchange

This text is talking about whether the interior design can be the catalyst for community, creativity and exchange. The author will explain this question from three aspects, and figure out the role of interior design plays. Then, the results of this research will be use in the CASA MORIGI renovation program, to transform CASA MORIGI into an artist centre, in which artists and art-lovers can communicate freely, and the artist can create freely. CASA MORIGI can meet three needs of artists and public: The needs of artists’ living and creating; The needs of communicating between the artists to artists and artists to the public; The needs of co-working between the artists to artists and artists to the public; In this program, the foundation will give a financial support to CASA MORIGI, and the committee will invite some famous and popular artists to live and create in CASA MORIGI, as well, the committee provide opportunities to young artists ( under 35-year-old) to live and create at CASA MORIGI. There the young artist can learn from the famous artist and get more opportunities to popularise their works to the public. Every visitors and the art-lovers can talk to their favourite artist in face, and learn more about then creating background and process of the artworks. At the same time, they can participate some open-art with the artist.
