Valores cromaticos. Una forma de explotación arquitectónica

The present thesis is born from the Laboratory of Investigation and Project 'Profanations' to achieve the professional Títolo of Arquitecto and the degree of Magíster in Architecture to the Pontifical Universidad Católica de Chile, realized by Manuel Corrada and Francisco Díaz in the academic year 2017.Such investigation comes introduces as thesis of Magistral Degree to the Polytechnic in Milan with Professor Andrew Gritti as chairman. The present volume analyzes, through three wise critics concerning three cases study on the contemporary Chilean architecture, published in the book Blanca Montaña, arquitectura reciente en Chile, the modus operands of the transaction of architectural values toward non belonging values to the architecture and of the consequent smaterializzazione of the first ones. Such methodology reveals, through operations of analysis, comparison and criticism, how much the staircase of values adopted for classifying a work is very more influenced by strategies of marketing and market rather than from the debate of the contemporary architectural discipline. The relative presupposition to an architectural Chilean identity could not have put in discussion if not in the critical context of the wise man, ragion for which the present thesis adopts a non conventional form. In fact, every chapter can independently be read by the order in which is introduced, belonging to a game of postpones and reflexes, that it finds its point of beginning in the prologue and it renders explicit the impossibility of a conclusion in the epilogue.The hypothesis of the profanation is the matter that sustains the whole investigation, that leaves entrance to manifold interpretations around the possibility that such profanation comes or less consumed.

La presente tesi nasce dal Laboratorio di Investigazione e Progetto ‘Profanazioni’ per conseguire il Títolo professionale di Arquitecto ed il grado di Magíster in Architettura alla Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, realizzato da Manuel Corrada e Francisco Díaz nell’anno accademico 2017. Tale investigazione viene presenta come tesi di Laurea Magistrale al Politecnico di Milano con il Professor Andrea Gritti come relatore. Il presente volume analizza, attraverso tre saggi critici riguardanti tre casi studio sull’architettura cilena contemporanea, pubblicati nel libro Blanca Montaña, arquitectura reciente en Chile, il modus operandi della transazione di valori architettonici verso valori non appartenenti all’architettura e della conseguente smaterializzazione dei primi. Tale metodologia rivela, attraverso operazioni di analisi, confronto e critica, quanto la scala di valori adottata per classificare un’opera sia tanto più influenzata da strategie di marketing e di mercato piuttosto che dal dibattito della disciplina architettonica contemporanea. Il presupposto relativo ad un’identità cilena architettonica non poteva essere messo in discussione se non nel contesto critico del saggio, ragion per cui la presente tesi adotta una forma non convenzionale. Infatti, ogni capitolo può essere letto indipendentemente dall’ordine in cui viene presentato, essendo parte di un gioco di rimandi e riflessi, che trova il suo punto d’inizio nel prologo ed esplicita l’impossibilità di una conclusione nell’epilogo. L’ipotesi della profanazione è l’argomento che sostiene l’intera investigazione, che lascia adito a molteplici interpretazioni circa la possibilità che tale profanazione venga o meno consumata.
