Trattamento di acque inquinate da idrocarburi mediante fluidi magnetici

The purpose of the thesis is the development and the application of functionalized fluids for the adsorption and the reduction of hydrocarbon substances in industrial wastewater, in order to respect the limits of COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) imposed by the Testo Unico Ambientale. The behavior of this treatment system has been studied not only from the discontinuous point of view (batch tests) but also, for a closer approach to the industrial scale, with continuous testing.

Obiettivo della tesi è quello di sviluppare, e quindi applicare, fluidi appositamente funzionalizzati per l’adsorbimento e l’abbattimento di sostanze idrocarburiche in acque reflue industriali, al fine di rientrare nei limiti di COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) imposti dal Testo Unico Ambientale. Si è inoltre studiato il comportamento di questo sistema di trattamento non solo dal punto di vista discontinuo (prove a batch), ma anche, per un approccio più vicino alla scala industriale, con prove in continuo.
